rachel Fernbach, esq


Rachel Fernbach is a practicing attorney and partner in the law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, with offices in New York and Florida.  She concentrates her practice in the area of not-for-profit and health care law with a specialty in psychiatry and mental health services.  Ms. Fernbach also serves as Executive Director and General Counsel of the New York State Psychiatric Association, the medical specialty association of psychiatrists practicing in New York and a division of the American Psychiatric Association.  Her expertise extends to the law governing physicians and other licensed health care professionals, including HIPAA compliance, licensure, confidentiality, documentation and coding, reimbursement and audit matters.
